GOD'S WORD IN THE ARABIC-SPEAKING COUNTRIES

The Arabic language is spoken in over 25 different countries as a first language and in many more as a second or third language. Over 280 Million people use some form of Arabic as their first language. Islam is the major religion in these areas and remains a violent opponent to Christianity. Only the power of the Gospel can bring peace to this part of the world. Unfortunately, evangelism in the Muslim communities is often limited to the written word or other media in an easy-to-understand form. People are finding the Easy-to-Read Arabic Scriptures throughout the Middle East in book shops, inside correctional facilities, in orphanages, and throughout the network of underground churches.

WBTC translators are in the final stages of completing the Old Testament. Soon there will be a complete Easy-to-Read Arabic Version of the Bible.
